24 x 7 Swine Flu Help line

help lineThe Maharashtra government has launched a 24 hour helpline that will connect to a call center for those that want information or help with regard to the H1N1 Swine Flu pandemic which has made its presence felt most in the western state.

The toll free number 1800226336 will be serviced by paramedics who are trained to answer all kinds of questions relating to the virus and will be available in English, Hindi and Marathi.  This is one of the measures adopted by the state to prepare for the second wave of Swine flu infections coming winter that we have been warned against. So far Maharashtra has reported the highest number of Swine flu deaths in the country, about 150.
