Even as India’s Swine Flu toll reaches 78 as per latest reports, Brazil tops the chart for the maximum number of deaths resulting from the H1N1 swine flu virus infection.
Brazil now has 557 swine flu deaths, making it the country with the highest number of fatalities in the world from the disease, according to this report. Though the country reports the highest number of dead, it is not the one with the highest mortality rate resultant from the infection however.
After Brazil the highest death toll is in the United States and thereafter Argentina with at least 439 swine flu deaths.
