Swine Flu Death Toll Continues to Rise in India

Swine flu death tollYesterday seven people died from the H1N1 Swine flu virus in different parts of the country and now the death toll has risen to 316 deaths. Of these 4 deaths were reported from Karnataka, two from Delhi and one from Andhra Pradesh.

The total number of swine flu positive cases reported is now well over ten thousand. The number now stands at 10,233 as reported here. Maharashtra continues to report the highest number of positive swine flu cases as well as deaths resulting from the virus infection, along with neighbouring state of Karnataka.
